Alan Kyerematen Commissions Konongo BRC
Hon. Alan Kyerematen, Minister for Trade and Industry joined Nananom of
Asante Akim Central to commission the newly established Business Resource
Centre in Konongo. The BRC which is a one stop enterprise support centre
will provide business development services to companies and entrepreneurs in
the Asante Akim Zone.
The Hon. Minister also commissioned the Effiduasi and Ejisu BRCs to provide
the same business development services to the business community in the
area. These three Business Resource Centres are part of the newly completed
37 BRCs out of the 67 to be established across the country by the Ministry
of Trade and Industry.
Hon. Alan Kyerematen was accompanied by Hon. Ato Panford, MP for Shama and
the Board Chairman of NBSSI, Ms. Kosi Yankey, Executive Director of NBSSI,
Mr. Kwasi Atta Antwi, National Director of REP and officials of the
Ministry, NBSSI and Rural Enterprises Programme.
The Ministry of Trade, Agribusiness & Industry is the lead policy advisor to government on trade, industrial and private sector development with responsibility for the formulation and implementation of policies for the promotion, growth and development of domestic and international trade and industry.
