Ghana hosts ECOWAS Ministers of Industry
Ghana's Trade and Industry Minister, Mr. Alan Kyerematen hosted the meeting of ECOWAS Ministers of Industry at the Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City yesterday in Accra. The meeting was to consider and validate the draft ECOWAS Automotive Industry Policy Framework and to make recommendations to the Council of Ministers for its adoption. This is in line with the leading role Ghana is playing in the Continent by developing its automotive industry which has attracted the global giants including Toyota, Nissan, VW and Renault. The Hon. Minister left Accra last night after the meeting to present a special message from President Akufo-Addo to the Prime Minister of Ethiopia.
